Stop CRT in New Hanover County Schools NOW – Attend June 8th Board of Education Meeting
Recently in a previous post, we informed you that a non-partisan group of concerned citizens has formed, “KIDS FIRST ALLIANCE”, an organization to stand and voice their stance against the inclusion of “Critical Race Theory” (CRT) or any of the other words frequently used to detract from the real intent. In a recent message to their membership, “Kids First Alliance” shared with their members:
- The “Equity, Diversity & Inclusion” religion, aka Critical Race Theory is a death sentence for America and the proponents will stop at nothing until all children become disciples.
- The left is using language games to manipulate our children’s minds, change our history and teach that America is not the land of the free, but instead the land of the oppressed and oppressors. Here is the scarier part – they’ve been at this a long time.
- If we don’t unite and stand NOW it will be too late!
- New Hanover County Schools are under cultural siege by the racist and divisive ideologies often referred to as: “EQUITY, DIVERSITY & INCLUSION,” “CULTURALLY RESPONSIBLE TEACHING,” and “SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL LEARNING.”
Those words don’t sound so bad, do they? They’ve changed the nomenclature to confuse parents, but it’s all part of CRITICAL RACE THEORY, a Marxist ideology.
Many of you are thinking that it is impossible or at least highly unlikely this could ever occur here in New Hanover County, North Carolina. That is what the parents of the students attending 3,500 public schools across America thought too. In a car drive less than two hours from Wilmington; “Kids First Alliance” points out that in Wake County, North Carolina’s largest school district, administrators told teachers at a conference to “disrupt whiteness” and “not let parents stand in the way” of social justice instruction in the classroom.
The primary objective of most politicians, at all levels, is to get reelected.
Many of these politicians think the public is not watching or just too dumb to understand. The “New Kids Alliance” wants you to know they are watching, have done their homework and are more than prepared to demonstrate that these radical decisions are NOT and WILL NOT be supported by the majority of NHC citizens.
The “Kids First Alliance” wants to inform you that on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, the Board of Education will be Meeting between 4:30 – 6 PM. A substantial number (100+) of concerned citizens, who can give a couple of hours of their busy schedules, will send an emphatically clear message to the Members of the Board.
